TT History

Sep 2024

The September TT moved to the new summer start time of 18h00, and we were rewarded with great conditions.  A welcome change after a hard winter.

The action on the route was equally hot. Both Johardt and Elsmarie were absent resulting in new winners receiving their free beers at the after party.  By the way, I suspect most runners have realised that the TT is actually about the after party!

Aug 2024

TT numbers just keep on growing. The gap in the weather helped as well, so we had a fantastic turnout of 31 runner.  Most also joined for a fun social event afterwards.

We had a number of PBs, and in the words of "serial offender first lady" Elsmarie, its clear that track training works.

Receintly joined new member Johardt, ran a blstering 17'09, setting a new CMC record.,He is now just 19 seconds away from the course record!

Dada, Rudi, Erik, you have work to do.  Come and defend your reputation next time.

July 2024

What an awesome CMC Time Trial tonight! Great turnout and a number of PBs. Well done everyone

June 2024

Hardcore time trailers. 💪Well done to John, Charlie and Elsmarie on their PBs.

May 2024

Not only did Leandra win overall, but she also set a new female record for our TT course.  She smashed a whopping 1'15 off the previous record. This performance places her 5th overall on the all time TT log. (all times as logged on Strava).

Well done Dada - you're a living legend.
